The Paint Brush is a utility tool that allows players to customize their base by repainting various pieces of furniture with a wide selection of colors.

Mechanics

usage

To use, equip the brush, select a color from the palette, and then hold the interact key ('E') on a valid, highlighted piece of furniture to paint it.

restrictions

Many furniture items cannot be repainted, such as lanterns, toilets, and fences.

Appearance

When dropped, the Paint Brush has a wooden handle with a small hole at the bottom, a grey ferrule, and white paint on the bristles. When a player holds it, the paint on the bristles changes to match the currently selected color.

Can be obtained at the Fishing Hut. The developers have stated this is a temporary location until a new, more suitable one is added.
