The basic, entry-level tool for fishing. It is the first rod players typically acquire and can be upgraded to higher tiers after gaining enough experience through fishing.

After gaining enough fishing XP to reach the maximum level for this rod, it can be placed on the Upgrade Bench in the Fishing Hut to be upgraded into a Good Rod.

Obtainable from the second trade with the Pelt Trader.

Fisherman Class

Players who select the Fisherman Class will start the game with an Old Rod.

Tips

You can fish faster by casting your line into pond ripples.

The color scheme of the Old Rod is similar to that of the Old Axe.
