The most efficient woodcutting tool in the game, capable of felling trees rapidly with a continuous attack. It is less effective as a weapon due to low damage.

Requires: 4 Cultist Gems, 4 Bear Pelts, 2 Alpha Wolf Pelts, and 10 Scrap.

Tips

Players can hold down the attack button with the Chainsaw to deal continuous damage to trees or hostile entities.

It isn't recommended to use the Chainsaw to kill entities because of its low attack damage and range.

Trivia

The Chainsaw and the Ice Axe are the only two Axes that deviate from the standard upgrade system.
